This was the first time for Aiya America to attend the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Show in San Diego. The show was 3 days long from August 28-30. Most of the attendees at this show were people in foodservice and in the restaurant industry. This was a good opportunity for us to expand and get our product in restaurants especially our Matcha pre-mix. The amount of attendees was pretty large and there seem to be a lot of people interested in our products. There was also a lot of people that weren’t familiar with what Matcha was at all so we had to educate them just on what Matcha is and the many applications of Matcha in both preparing drinks and food.
The next step for Matcha in the US is introducing it into more restaurants for use in food and various drinks just like in Japan where Matcha is more prevalent in everyday life.
